A Permission in Principle has been granted for up to two houses to the rear of the existing property. The plot is located in the Hooe area, a small suburb of Plymstock. The illustrative house types on the plans indicate two x three-bedroom detached houses each with a gross external area of approximately 930sq.ft. Each house has a hall, store, WC, kitchen, dining area and lounge on the ground floor. On the first floor is a landing, three bedrooms, an en-suite, family bathroom and store. The plot could of course be suitable for one detached house if preferred. The plot is adjacent to a large area of green space with woodland on the northern and western boundaries. This planning consent establishes that up to two houses are permissible here. The Technical Details Consent will establish the design, scale, layout and access for the plots. An indicative layout drawing shows the use of an existing access serving a garage block which Highways advises may need to be widened from 3.7m to 4.1m.
