Sixteen individual custom build detached plots are now available on the edge of Exmoor National Park. The plots will come as serviced building plots, with the road into the site and electricity, water and drainage brought to each plot. Each house can range from a small detached two bedroom bungalow to a large detached 4 / 5 bedroom house, ranging in size from approximately 1000 sq.ft. to 2000 sq.ft. The plots will have stunning views over the surrounding countryside and the properties can be designed to take in the panoramic views of Exmoor. Once the plot is secured, designs for the custom-build can be chosen from a build code agreed with the planning authority, this is likely to be of a traditional design with render, slate roof, timber windows, doors and fascia’s to reflect the village setting. The internal layout of each house can be of your own choosing. Each plot will have a garden and two parking spaces or a garage / car-port as required. Each plot will have reduced levels ready for the foundations, structural engineering and civil engineering, warranties, drawings and building regulations. The process will be A) choose a plot. B) Secure the plot with a 2.25% deposit held with solicitors. C) Completion will take place when the services are brought to the plot. D) The Developer is on hand to help agree a build code with the planners. E) Subject to status assistance with the plot purchase and build costs if required. As an alternative, the plots can also be bought as serviced building plots if you prefer to build out the house yourself.
