The Area
Cheddar is world-renowned for the Cheddar Gorge and caves and of course its cheese, attracting thousands of tourists to the area every year. The town has two Supermarkets, including Sainsbury’s, two very good Indian Restaurants, many varied and local shops, pubs and hotels. Water-sports activities take place at the Cheddar Reservoir, whilst the town has tennis, football and rugby clubs, with a golf course at Wedmore Golf Club. Nearby is the City Of Wells which is a relatively short drive. The nearest independent school is Sidcot which is over 400 years old and is rooted in the Quaker tradition.

The site has access to all main services. We are advised that mains drainage, gas and electricity are already serving properties on site and water is available in the adjacent roadway. We would advise interested parties to make their own enquiries with regard to services prior to exchange of contracts.
